Using Pull a Thread
Using Pull a Thread means you agree to these terms. Pull a Thread is brought to you by Crucible Ledger Co. of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Your wall is yours
You keep every right you have in what you put on your wall. You let Pull a Thread store it, copy it for backups and show it to the people you choose, and only so the service can do its job.
What you put on it
Only put up what you have the right to use. Pictures, book pages and quotes you keep for your own study are up to you. If you share or present them, making sure you are allowed to is up to you as well.
Nothing illegal, nothing that harasses or threatens a real person, and nothing that tries to break the service or get into someone else's wall.
The Assistant
The assistant is a computer program and it can be wrong. What it says is a starting point for your own checking, not a fact. Everything it adds comes in marked as a hunch until you confirm it.
Free, Standard and Pro
Pull a Thread is free to use. Free keeps one wall in use at a time, 250 MB for pictures and three questions a week for the assistant, and it leaves out the Stage, Run Order, Presenter Notes, reading pages and translating. Those limits can change.
There are two paid plans. Standard is the whole app for your own research, with three walls in use at a time. Pro adds as many walls as you need, the proof record on every pin, the client report in the Dossier, more space, more daily copies and more questions for the assistant. The prices are shown before you pay. You can move between them from More, Your Plan.
The free month
A new account gets everything in Pro for its first month, or its first two months with a creator's code, starting the first time you sign in. No card is asked for and nothing is charged. You can have one free month.
When the month ends your account moves to Free by itself. Nothing you made is removed. A reminder is emailed to you about two days before the month ends.
Paying
A plan renews by itself each month or each year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from More, Your Plan, then Billing and Cancel, or at link.com with the email you paid with. You keep everything you paid for until the end of that month or year, and after that your account moves to Free. Nothing you made is removed.
Moving from Standard to Pro, or back, takes effect straight away. Stripe works out the difference on your next bill.
Payments are taken by Stripe through Link, which is the seller, charges any sales tax or VAT, sends your receipts and handles refund requests.
Limits
Questions, page readings, pictures and storage have limits, and the limits can change. They keep the cost of running Pull a Thread in check.
Still being built
Pull a Thread is still being built and tested. Features will change, and some may go away. Keep your own backups from More, Backups.
Stopping
You can stop at any time. A wall can be turned off for breaking these terms. You will be told why and given the chance to download it first, unless the law says otherwise.
No promises
Pull a Thread is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be available, free of mistakes or right for any particular purpose.
Liability
As far as the law allows, the most Pull a Thread is responsible for is what you paid for it in the twelve months before the problem, and it is not responsible for indirect losses such as lost work or lost profit.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Hawaii.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes. Using Pull a Thread after that means you accept the new terms.
